Ava Whitney is our way to "pay it forward". Being a founder doesn't need to be a lonely job. We have been there, riding the same rollercoaster you are today. We have experienced the high highs and the low lows. We have bootstrapped, raised capital, sold businesses and, even, failed.
We have also experienced the stress of finding and hiring the right people, managing cash flow, negotiating contracts with customers, getting them to pay, organizing and motivating your team to perform at its best and stick it out with you—and on and on.
We have done all these things, and now our mission is to help those like you who are in earlier stages of this journey. You are not alone, and there are people who understand what you do and can help you.

Leadership
Monica is an entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience supporting startups, including her role as a founding member of WillowTree. Her core strengths include understanding team dynamics and mediating conflicts, human resources and benefits administration, and small business bookkeeping expertise. In her spare time, she enjoys finding treasures at estate auctions and playing tennis with her friends.
Michael is a serial founder and technology leader, best known as the Founder & CTO of WillowTree, which has grown to a 4,000+ employee digital agency following its acquisition by Telus International. His core strengths include recruiting & team building, technology leadership, and digital agency operations. In his spare time, he enjoys auto racing, fishing with his son, and traveling.
